MOOMIN MUGS

A nice morning starts with a mug of nice cappuccino and not in any kind of mug, the Moomin characters light up my mornings. The colourful mugs can be found in many Finnish families. I got my mugs as a Christmas presents from my children and some from friends. These mugs are "Made in Finland" and some models are quite rare and they are already collector items. The black and white mugs on the coffee machine is part of the new collection called "Seikkailu", meaning adventure. In that collection there are trays, mug, milk jug, cereal bowl. Actually the colourful collection also have matching cereal bowls.

CRAFT ROOM

I found suitable furniture in IKEA for this room. The shelves are attached on 3 aluminium poles and what is good I could choose how many and what kind of shelving I needed. Most of the storage card board boxes are from Ikea as well. Opposite side of the shelving is the bed that can be open to a double bed when needed and it still has 3 large storage drawers in it as well. The duvet cover and pillow cases are from Finlayson's Moomin Collection. Finlayson is a Finnish company that has a nice collection of fabrics, duvet covers and table clothes and every season they will bring some new designs...

The hugging the Moomin is a highlight of the summer for many young visitors of the Moominworld in Naantali. It is a theme park where you can meet all the characters in their own habitat. Let's hug when me meet is the Moomin motto.

The carefree and adventurous family lives in the Moominvalley. The Moomins became better know the worldwide public in '80 by the modern day cartoon series in the TV.
